sesimbra · rehabilitation project

The program foresaw a three-bedroom vacation home that would enjoy more of the outdoors. To gain area and increase the number of rooms the superfluous kitchen support spaces were used and this space was joined to the new living room. With this solution the whole social area of the house now enjoys the view of the Sesimbra mountain range and is connected directly to a private terrace of this apartment. In the materials, simple solutions, the white of the walls, ceilings and carpentry and the gray of the floor provide the expectant neutrality of the color brought by the subsequent occupation. Outside, the solution of the guard and partitions in perforated plate brought some privacy to the terrace.
